Ordering Prescriptions:

We strongly recommend that you obtain prescriptions when you visit your Doctor. Generally speaking it is much better to discuss ongoing need for medication in person with your Doctor – the Doctor may then have the opportunity to examine you if required.

You will be asked to make a brief special appointment when a repeat prescription is due. Under certain circumstances you may request a simple repeat Prescription by booking a phone appointment, if eligible for a phone appointment.

The Doctor will then check this Prescription against your Medical Record and issue a prescription for you if it is appropriate. Prescriptions can be forwarded to our local pharmacies under certain circumstances – please inquire with our reception staff.

Please note that some requests may be refused if the Doctor believes that a visit in person is required. We will not issue prescriptions for medical conditions that have not been seen by the Doctors, OR initiate medications without patient being seen for that condition.

Cost for lost scripts, referrals, imaging & pathology requests and medical certificates - $30.00 no rebate.

Payment must be made prior to the collection of your request.
